The Leeds Group invites you to a humorous talk by Neil Hanson on his Tan Hill Inn adventures.

Tan Hill Inn in the Yorkshire Dales is Britain’s highest public house. Neil Hanson will be giving a humorous talk on the quirks and foibles, highs and lows of his time running Tan Hill Inn, back in the 1970s and 1980s.

His account of grappling with tight-fisted farmers, eccentric characters, bizarre local customs, naturist weekends, “lates and lock-ins”, police raids and much more. He is also a successful author with 70 books to his name. Come and join us for this talk which will start at 8pm at the Holiday Inn in Garforth.

Refreshments will also be available.
