Enjoy this four-night MIDWEEK VARIETY adult-only break at the stunning Warner's Cricket St. Thomas. This historic 18th-century manor house is set among walled gardens that overlook the River Axe and has been featured in the TV comedy 'To the Manor Born'. Expect to see a fantastic mix of visiting artists along with performances from the Warner Theatre Company.

As with all Warner's breaks, there are an abundance of activities and entertainment for you to enjoy throughout your stay, all included in the cost of your break. Whether you prefer leisurely pursuits or active adventures, Warner's Cricket St. Thomas has something for everyone, from archery and rifle shooting to croquet and boules. There are also several activities available at an extra cost, like wine and gin tasting and spa treatments. You can also enjoy scenic walks around the grounds or take an audio-guided hotel tour to learn about the manor's rich history.

Venture beyond the estate to explore the rich heritage and natural beauty of Somerset. The town of Chard, just a ten-minute drive from the hotel, offers a range of activities for visitors. Visit the Chard Museum to discover local history and learn about John Stringfellow, a pioneer of powered flight. Forde Abbey and Gardens is another must-visit, featuring a beautiful historic house with stunning gardens and water features, and diverse plant collections. For those wanting to get out into nature, the Chard Reservoir Nature Reserve is perfect for birdwatching, walking, and enjoying a picnic, while Axe Valley Wildlife Park is a small and friendly zoo situated in the beautiful countryside of the Axe Valley in East Devon.

There is also plenty to do within a short drive of the hotel. Charmouth Beach on the Jurassic Coast is famous for fossil hunting and its stunning cliffs. The picturesque seaside towns of Lyme Regis and Beer are also close by. History lovers will enjoy Barrington Court, a National Trust Tudor manor house with lovely gardens and orchards. Another National Trust property worth visiting is Montacute House, an Elizabethan mansion featuring magnificent architecture and maintained gardens. For a taste of local cider, Perry's Cider Mill offers tours of the cider mill and tastings of their award-winning ciders.

For motoring and aviation enthusiasts, the Haynes Motor Museum, home to the UK's biggest exhibition of cars and motorbikes dating from 1900 to today, is a must-visit. The Fleet Air Arm Museum, Europe’s largest naval aviation museum, is also reachable within 40 minutes by car.
