Llandrindod Wells, nestled in Powys, Wales, is a town celebrated for its Victorian and Edwardian architecture and spa heritage. One of the highlights is Llandrindod Wells Lake, where visitors can enjoy a peaceful walk, rent pedal boats or canoes, explore the sculpture trail, and have a relaxing picnic by the water. Venturing outside the town, the Elan Valley, approximately 12 miles away, is a beautiful area with impressive dams and reservoirs. Visitors can enjoy walking, cycling, and wildlife watching, and the Elan Valley Visitor Centre provides detailed information about the area. The Gilfach Nature Reserve, about 10 miles away, offers diverse habitats and wildlife, with scenic nature trails perfect for exploration.

For those interested in hiking, the Offa’s Dyke Path offers a chance to walk along a historic trail while taking in the beautiful landscapes. The Brecon Beacons National Park, roughly 20 miles away, offers a wide range of outdoor activities, including hiking, mountain biking, and natural attractions like Pen y Fan, the highest peak in South Wales.

Finally, a visit to the Red Kite Feeding Station at Gigrin Farm, about 10 miles away, is a must for bird enthusiasts. Witnessing the daily feeding of red kites is a spectacular sight, and visitors can learn about these majestic birds of prey. The valley is also an International Dark Sky Park, making it perfect for stargazing and photography.

Included in this break is a full Welsh breakfast and a four-choice, three-course dinner each day, along with a welcome drink of house wine or orange juice on the first night. There will also be two nights of entertainment: a choir on one evening and a disco with a dance floor on the last evening. Guests also have free use of the spa facilities, including the pool and gym. The hotel offers a large free car park for guests and free Wi-Fi. Porterage will also be offered on arrival.

Check-in is from 4 pm, but from 2 pm you can register with the hotel and start using the spa, including the heated indoor swimming pool, thermal whirlpool spa, sauna, steam room, and air-conditioned gym. Luxury spa treatments are available at extra cost, and advanced booking is advised.

Single supplement is charged at £10 per room, per night for a single bed and £25 per room, per night for a classic double bed

Room Upgrades

Shared occupancy upgrades per room, per night:

Superior Double or Twin rooms are available for a supplement of £15 per room, per night

Luxury Tower Double or Twin rooms are available for a supplement of £35 per room, per night

A non-refundable deposit of £20 per person is required to secure the booking.

Reservations cancelled within 4 to 7 days prior to arrival are charged at 60%. Thereafter any cancellations received within 72 hours prior (4pm, 3 days prior) to arrival are charged at 100% of the booking value. Any non-arrivals will be charged for in full. All charges, except deposits, are subject to released accommodation not being re-sold.
