About the Event
10am to 1pm, Saturday 15 March 2025
The Aviation group would like to invite you to join them for this is a unique opportunity to visit the famous Navy Wings Hangars at RNAS Yeovilton which are not normally open to the public.
The morning visit is now full, so due to popular demand an afternoon visit has been arranged and is now available to book via the online booking form.
The Fly Navy Heritage Trust is the charity behind Navy Wings, working to preserve Britain's great naval heritage, It relies on public donations to support its work in maintaining, presenting and flying an unrivalled collection of historic naval aircraft.
As the Navy Wings event has been oversubscribed the Aviation Group has been able to arrange an afternoon session for this event. So if you want to join us please log in for the booking form and submit your entry.
We will then contact you via email and confirm your afternoon booking.
Please aim to arrive between 1pm and 1:30pm so we can check you in and begin the afternoon tour promptly.
An expert guide will take our group around the hangars. As the hangars are not open to the public, you will need to bring with you your photo ID (eg Driving Licence, Passport) in order to pass the security checks and get in.
The visit will involve walking around and between operational hangars, so please be aware of trip hazards, machinery etc at all times.
The meeting point will be the Cafe at Fleet Air Arm Museum.
