Walk your way - a guide to enjoying the great outdoors on foot

Back to Our community

From urban strolls to mountain hikes, the Ramblers is a charity dedicated to removing barriers so everyone can enjoy walking in green spaces across Great Britain. We're committed to campaigning to keep our countryside open to all and to fighting for the things that matter most to walkers.

Whether you are just starting out or have many miles under your belt – we’re here to inspire you to get outside and explore everything that walking has to offer. Join us for a member-exclusive evening with Sara Murray, from the Walking Experience team at the Ramblers.

Whatever your reasons for wanting to walk – join us as we share top tips, advice and stories from our walking community. From the basics of how to find and plan a great walk to staying safe and choosing kit, we’ll answer your questions to help you build the skills and confidence you need to plan your next adventure.
