Opened in 1985, Haynes Motor Museum near Yeovil now has around 400 classic cars from all over the world in its collection.
In this member-exclusive online event, museum director Chris Copson will tell us how the museum started, take us on a nostalgia-fuelled trip through the history of motoring and show us round some of the impressive cars and motorbikes on display. This will be a real A to Z of motoring, from Alfa Romeos to Ford Zephyrs via Jaguars, Jensens, Plymouths and Pontiacs.
Many of us will have owned a Haynes car manual at one time or another. Over the course of this fascinating evening, you’ll get a chance to find out about the man behind the manual and the museum – his enduring legacy to the world of motoring.
