Buying and using a Boundless shopping card couldn’t be easier. All you need to do is choose a store and pre-pay the amount you wish to have on the card. As a Boundless member, you’ll automatically be charged at a discounted rate.

Say, for example, that you want to shop at Currys. Log into your Boundless account and type ‘Currys’ into the search bar, or browse under the ‘Savings’ tab to find it. Click on ‘Currys’ and you’ll be taken to a web page with instructions guiding you through how to order a Currys shopping card. It’s very straightforward – you just enter the amount you want on the card. Let’s say you want £100. Since Boundless members get a 4% discount on Currys cards, you'll be charged just £96 – saving you £4.

Or if you love Adidas gear. Select an Adidas eGift card and choose the amount that you want on it. In this example, we'll say £100. Since the Adidas eGift cards come with a 10% discount, you'll be charged just £90.

Once you've paid for your card online, you’ll either be sent the physical card in the post (see bottom of page for postage costs) or sent vouchers electronically. With many of the cards, you're given the option to top up whenever you like, meaning that you can enjoy discounts throughout the year.

What discount shopping cards are available?

Supermarkets

The price of groceries just seems to get higher and higher, and that can have a real impact on our finances. A discount shopping card for your favourite supermarket chain will make a difference, though.

Supermarket discounts are available for Asda (2% off), Iceland (3% off), John Lewis / Waitrose (2.4% off), M&S (4% off), Morrisons (3% off), Sainsburys (3% off) and Tesco (3.5% off), they’ll enable you to get more food, drink, household items, and even fuel, for your money, helping to stretch your budget a little further.

As with all the discount shopping cards mentioned on this page, once you’ve bought a card for your chosen supermarket, it can be used at stores up and down the country, meaning you can save money no matter where you happen to be. Prefer to order your groceries online? You can still use your shopping card to pay the bill – just follow the instructions when you get to the checkout.

DIY outlets

Whether you’re decorating your living room, installing a new kitchen or upgrading your patio furniture, making improvements to your home or garden can be expensive.

Happily, Boundless members can save money on jobs like these by buying discount shopping cards for popular DIY stores B&Q and Wickes (both 3% off). Other retailers that stock a wide range of items for the home and garden are IKEA and Argos, and you can get 6% and 3% off their shopping cards respectively.

Electronics stores

Need a new TV, laptop or fridge-freezer? Buying goods like these can put a strain on your bank balance, so any opportunity to save money is worth grabbing.

Boundless members get a 4% discount when purchasing a Currys shopping card, which will help you to buy the things you need. Argos also stocks a wide range of electrical goods, and, as previously mentioned, Boundless members get 3% off when buying one of their shopping cards.

Restaurants and cafés

Everyone loves going for meals from time to time, but it doesn’t come cheap – especially when you have several mouths to feed. You’ll be pleased to know, then, that discount shopping cards aren’t just available for stores and supermarkets, but restaurants and cafés too.

Yes, as a Boundless member you can save money when topping up cards for Caffè Nero (6%), Pizza Express (7%), Toby Carvery (7%) and many more popular chains, enabling you to dine out for less.

This is on top of the free tastecard and Coffee Club subscription you get as a Boundless member – a perk that enables you to enjoy 2-for-1 dining or 25% off your food and drinks bill at thousands of restaurants across the UK, 50% off pizza delivery, and 25% off barista-made drinks at your favourite coffee shops.
