Talk on Talbot House, Poperinge

The Peterborough Group invites you to a talk to discover the inspiring history of Talbot House.

Talbot House, Poperinge in Belgium, is a property where soldiers in WW1 would go for respite during the conflict. It provides a peaceful place where everyone was treated the same. You can still visit or stay there and as well as a retreat, it is a museum.

Our speaker will trace its history from the dark days of WW1 to the present-day museum and tourist attraction.

The museum is well worth a visit if you are ever in that area.
