The Lighter Side of Queen Victoria

About the event

8pm to 10pm, Wednesday 23 April 2025

After the AGM we welcome Christina Croft, a writer and speaker who has written many books about 19th and 20th century history, especially Queen Victoria and her family.

Christina was born in Warwickshire and grew up in Leeds, where she attended Notre Dame Grammar School before graduating in Liverpool. Qualified as a teacher and a nurse, she also worked as a poet in schools as part of the Heads Together project.
