About the rally

This rally will immediately follow on from the Marsden Moor rally which runs from 10 to 15 April 2025.
Come and join us in Victoria Park in the heart of the traditional seaside resort of Southport, within an easy walk of the town’s central attractions. There is a large supermarket across the road. As well as Southport’s many attractions you can enjoy all the benefits of Merseyside and the wonderful Lancashire countryside. The rally is mostly free and easy but will include the usual coffee morning, quizzes and social get togethers.
There are plenty of bars, restaurants and shops close by along with the Pleasureland fun fair, Marine lake with waterborne activities, Dunes Splashworld and swimming baths and other leisure activities. You might even want to visit the only lawnmower museum in the country. Take a stroll along Lord Street boulevard to visit the Atkinson Museum and Art Gallery and its many shops. For an interesting food experience visit the Market food hub where tastes from around the world are available. There are a number of parks in the town, including Botanic Gardens in the quaint village of Churchtown in the north of the town. The trendy village of Birkdale is close by with many small individual cafes and restaurants.
There are good bus and train transport links allowing you to visit Formby NT Pinewoods where you might spy red squirrels, the famous Gormley statues ‘Another Place’ and on to Liverpool. Other nearby attractions are Marin Mere WWT centre, Marshside RSPB reserve, Rufford Old Hall beside the Liverpool and Leeds canal. Or further afield if you want.
We have EHU available for all units at an extra cost of £5.00 per night.
Your own sanitation is essential as there are no toilet and shower facilities available.
