Having worked at the museum for more than 30 years, former Head of Archives Peter Elliott is perfectly qualified to guide us through the golden age of the RAF. The museum’s collection is housed over two sites – Hendon in London and Cosford in Shropshire – and Peter will take us on a fascinating journey through the history of aviation by showing us some of the exhibits on display. These include fighter and civilian aircraft, bombers, missiles and engines, and we’ll also be treated to a behind-the-scenes peek at some items not normally on view to the public on a virtual tour of the Hendon and Cosford sites.
