At just after 5.30pm on 27 February 1923 the first general meeting of the Civil Service Motoring Association was called to order and our club came into being. In this very special member-exclusive event, Michael Tambini – manager of Cotswold Motoring Museum – will take us back over 100 years of CSMA/Boundless. But this is more than just the history of a motoring club. You’ll hear stories of camaraderie, achievement and adventure from members through the years captured on film, in photographs – even on 78rpm gramophone records. Find out how our staff at Cotswold Motoring Museum are transforming these fascinating snapshots of days gone by into a digital archive of national importance which is destined provide a catalogue of changing times and shifting cultural and social attitudes.
