  • Historic town of Wallingford
  • Local restaurants and pubs
  • Beautiful countryside setting

Bridge Villa is a picturesque, family run Camping and Touring Camping and Caravan Park in Oxfordshire, beside the River Thames within the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, approximately 14 miles south of the city of Oxford. Located on the edge of the village of Crowmarsh Gifford amongst unspoilt river-meadows, visitors to Bridge Villa are able to take a short walk over the part-medieval bridge with its 19 stone arches to the centre of the historic market town of Wallingford.

Wallingford has a long and proud history. Once King Alfred the Great’s largest fortified new town, Wallingford was granted it’s Royal Charter in 1155 long before London and now boasts an excellent range of independent shops, restaurants and pubs as well as the regular Friday, Farmers and Local Produce markets. Wallingford is also recognisable as the original Causton from Midsomer Murder (Inspector Barnaby). There are numerous places to explore locally from the popular series.

Bridge Villa is situated close to two National Paths; The Thames Path and The Ridgeway and in addition it is also located on the Thames Valley section of Route 5 of the National Cycle Routes, offering many different opportunities to enjoy the beautiful surrounding countryside.
