Marketing Executive - Member Communities and Magazine
Location: Britannia House, Brighton. Hybrid
Contract: Full time, Permanent
Working in our Member Communities and Magazine team, you’ll play a key role in growing membership engagement. You’ll offer your support to our volunteers and take the lead to organise and promote a successful calendar of social breaks and holidays for our members.
With your excellent marketing skills and knowledge, you will work to manage multiple projects, build campaigns and organise group and event logistics. Communication is key to the role as you interact with members across different marketing channels.

About the role:
- Ownership of the Social Breaks and Holidays sector of the Boundless offering. From planning and contracting an annual calendar of breaks to our membership and recruiting and supporting volunteer hosts for each break.
- Managing specific Interest Groups in the Boundless offering which involves planning and supporting volunteers to arrange suitable events and activities for the groups.
- Creating marketing campaigns for each group to grow awareness, engagement and attendance at member community events.
- Briefing, approving and delivery of marketing assets including email communications, print advertising, social media posts, magazine content and adverts across all offline and online channels.
- Collecting and reviewing data to improve the member communities offering and grow the departments activities with membership.
About you:
- Marketing degree or equivalent
- Strong level of written language skills and experience of proof reading
- Experience of working with volunteers and volunteering
- High level of customer service experience
- Competent in using Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook. System experience with a CRM and/or CMS systems is desirable
- Able to attend our Brighton office 1-2 days a week and meetings across the UK, which may include hotel stays. A UK driving license for travel is not essential but desirable.
